Voliker: Mage of Mystery

Dwelling in a forbidden area of the Adri forest, Voliker provides silent support for Prince Herrell, exercising his control from his tower through his apprentices. He appears to be a very old man, but anyone can tell you that when you deal with mages, the older they look, the more you have to fear them. Many an adventurer has lived to regret underestimating the lich that killed them all.

This is not to say that Voliker labors on the side of good. It may be that he simply likes to keep the status quo because it allows him to remain safely in his tower, doing whatever it is he does.

Galen believes he knows something about the questionable death of his grandfather, the previous owner of Galen's wondrous rapier.

He was present at the battle of Cherrin as well, though he did not involve himself in the battle.
